clutch springs: CB1000C uses same size, just stiffer improved gear selector forks in CB1000C, can fit 900 Look at honda's 70's shaft-drive bikes (goldwing, etc). they all supposedly used a right-side shaft. fork springs from cb1000 are much stiffer than cb900 (design change: more spring, less air pressure) cb1000 triple clamp extends 1 inch forward compared to 900 fork size increased from 37mm on 900 to 39mm on 1000. steering head 2 inches longer. rear shocks & springs much stiffer. cb1000 w/ no air = cb900 w/ 33psi cb1000 wheels: cast aluminum... 2.5-18 front, 3.0-16 rear (holds 140 stock tire) - what does that tell us about the swingarm? :)
